BBQ: Beyond Barber Quality - Hiro's Recipes

Hiro BBQ is a column born during the first lockdown to keep us company with a little lightness. The idea of the column is very simple: publish Hiro's recipes. Food bloggers don't want it, we're not serious. Hiro BBQ is a game, a way to get together, and now that bars and restaurants have to close at 6pm, it might come in handy too!

So go straight to the kitchen, put on some music and follow the steps of the next recipe!

But I recommend: don't follow them to the letter, we don't even give you the quantities of the ingredients. Get inspired and unleash your creativity!

Crispy rolls!

Slices of beef, cooked ham, slices, eggs, breadcrumbs, oil for frying.

Make sure the beef slices are thin, otherwise beat them with a meat tenderizer.

Arrange the ham and a thin slice on each slice of meat (cut to size to fit inside the roll), then roll each slice on itself to obtain the rolls.

Secure the ends of the rolls with two toothpicks to keep them closed.

Pass the rolls in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. If you want an even more crunchy breading, mix the breadcrumbs with the corn flour!

Heat the oil for frying and, once hot, dip the rolls until they are perfectly golden.

Remove the rolls from the boiling oil and let them rest for a few minutes on a sheet of absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

The result will be greedy, crunchy and… super racy !!!

We look forward to hearing how they came to you!
